We offer everything you need to prepare for the Tennessee BC-A and BC-b exams.

To prepare for the exam, you will need books and tabs as well as our exam prep course. We also give the option to purchase pre-tabbed and highlighted books, saving you valuable hours of highlighting the information within the books yourself.

Tennessee BC-A Residential Contractors may perform the construction, remodeling, repair, or improvement of 1, 2, 3, or 4 family unit residences not exceeding 3 stores in height and accessory use structures in connection therewith. A license is required for jobs over $25,000.

Similarly, Tennessee BC-b Small Commercial Contractors are authorized to bid on and contract for the construction, erection, alteration, repair or demolition of any building or structure for use and occupancy by the general public the total cost of which does not exceed seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($750,000.00).

All Tennessee Contractor Applicants are still required to meet other state licensing regulations in order to obtain a license. All applicants are required to take and pass a Business and Law exam as well as submitting a license application to the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors.
